I recently stayed at Sudavik Guesthouse for a few days with some friends. The host, Francois, was amazing and made our stay truly memorable. He took us on a fishing and mushroom foraging trip, cooked us a delicious dinner using the foraged ingredients, and even showed us how to make croissants and Pain au chocolate. The guesthouse itself was clean, comfortable, and had a well-equipped kitchen. The location was convenient, and the owner was responsive and accommodating. I also loved the cute little note left on our bedroom door!
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The Sudavik Guesthouse was an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The sitting area was big and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The views from the guesthouse were simply breathtaking, with the ocean in front and a majestic mountain behind. I also appreciated the small touches that made the place feel like home. staying at Sudavik Guesthouse was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!
The shower room had a low standard, with a malfunctioning shower head and water-damaged flooring. The lack of TV in the rooms or other common areas was a minor inconvenience.

cozy guesthouse with kitchen, comfy shared spaces and friendly host. Saw a whale from the dock, plus local history booklet and easy self check-in. Loved the free coffee and tea! Unfortunately, didn't get to try the owner's famous bread.

We loved the cozy and spacious three person room with a private bathroom. The kitchen area was well-equipped and the living room had a great collection of local books and maps. The hosts provided free coffee grounds and tea, which was a nice touch. The adjustable bed in our room was a pleasant surprise after a long day of adventure. The owner was very helpful in planning out our sightseeing itinerary.
Felt free to seek any assistance, nothing to complain about.

The best thing about this guest house was Francois, the host, and the camaraderie among the guests. Francois is a nature guide and offers activities such as fishing and mushroom foraging. He even cooked dinner using the mushrooms and wild plants he collected. He freely shared his knowledge of the area with all guests. The kitchen was functional and the whole place was clean and comfortable. There are kitchens on both floors, and the host even demonstrated making croissants and Pain au chocolate, which guests baked the next morning.
Felt really good, no complaint.

There were some negative aspects to our stay. The facilities were outdated and poorly maintained, with doors that were hard to close and made noise.
